Meet the Experts
Dr. Marcel O. Pontón, PhD, ABPP, is a distinguished neuropsychologist with over 32 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of individuals with traumatic brain injuries and psychological trauma. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and is the CEO and Founder of Persona Neurobehavior Group.
Dr. Pontón has been an expert witness in numerous evaluations and has extensive expertise in assessing Spanish-speaking patients. His scholarly contributions include co-authoring “Neuropsychology and the Hispanic Patient: A Clinical Handbook” and “International Handbook of Cross-cultural Neuropsychology.”
Dr. Serina Hoover, PsyD, ABPP, QME, CBIS, CIC, is a nationally recognized psychologist specializing in medical rehabilitation, clinical neuropsychology, and forensic evaluations. She is the Director of the Comprehensive Brain Injury Program at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and has held leadership positions such as President of the American Board of Rehabilitation Psychology.
Dr. Hoover is committed to training and mentorship, having received the National Mentorship Award from the American Psychological Association’s Division 22.
